Sports and Activities

IWA-Sport provides opportunities for children and adults with a physical disability to participate in a range of sports including Wheelchair Rugby, Wheelchair Basketball, Para Athletics, and Para Powerlifting, Para Swimming, Para Archery, Para Table Tennis, Boccia and many more sports.

We have a network of 21 sports clubs located all around Ireland; these are broken down as follows;

• 8 multi sport junior clubs (for children between 5 and 17 years old)
• 4 Wheelchair Rugby  clubs
• 9 Wheelchair Basketball clubs (for players aged 15 and over)

We also run a full programme of events nationally which include;

• Athletics Grand Prix – 8 competitions open to everyone from April to September
• National Championships in Swimming and Archery
• Easter and Summer Sports Camps
